Interiors, Signage
Ciência Viva
This intervention is part of an overall environmental graphic design project that we designed for the Pavilion of Knowledge (a science museum in Lisbon, Portugal).
The focus of this specific intervention was the museum entrance, where we wanted to create a strong identity that could somehow suggest a little bit of its “curious” scientific contents.
The concept was to make an analogy with the effect of light refraction, like a “rainbow”.
Big window openings were covered with colored transparent film, along with suspended plexiglass colored panels, (that were at the same time the support for communication and signage information).
The sunlight variations during the day and the inner artificial light during the night, provide the intervention with a constant ambiance mutation.
