The concept that informed the design was based on the chromatic study of the interior of the building, in the perspective of its new functionality and, in symbiosis with the architectural philosophy implicit in the restoration project, with the evident objective of a redefinition of perception and the conciliation of the graphic aesthetics with the nature of the museological material (for this purpose, a specific lettering was designed and standardized).
Thus, the invasion of black into discontinuous bands of orthogonal planes, straight or flexed in zones of intersection of walls, is soberly affirmed — by its austere character — but assertive in the braking of the dominant underlying white aridity, being in addition the privileged support for graphic signage.
