P 06 studio has been awarded the Red Dot Communication Design Award 2025, one of the most prestigious international distinctions in communication design, for conceiving Vista Alegre’s 200th anniversary commemorative exhibition. The project stood out among hundreds of international entries for its innovative approach to exhibition storytelling, blending tradition and contemporary design in a sensorial, immersive journey. This is the studio’s seventh Red Dot, having previously won the Grand Prix in 2011. The official ceremony will take place in Berlin next November, celebrating the world’s most innovative design projects.

P06 studio won the international competition for the interiors and signage of the new Belém Art District, an extension of CCB, in collaboration with the architecture firm Risco. The project includes a Lumen hotel, studios, shops, restaurants and a cinema, inspired by the seven classical arts. It aims to create a unique district where architecture, design and culture converge, showcasing the creativity and craftsmanship of Portugal.

The exhibition “Chinese Musical Instruments” designed by P 06, makes known to the public a representative Chinese instrumental collection. In the new Galeria Torreão Sul, in the Mafra Palace, it opened in July and will be open until the end of April.

The Villa Portela Arts Center opens on September 14 (Sunday) at 2:30 PM with the exhibition “Sonho Manifesto! In Leiria, All Trees Are Pines”, featuring works from the CACE — State Collection of Contemporary Art — and invited artists. This is the third cultural venue in Leiria where P 06 Studio has been involved, following the BAG (Municipal Gallery of Contemporary Art) and the Black Box (Artistic Creation Platform), having designed the graphic identity, communication, and signage for each project.
